Why does MetaMask sometimes show a changed amount between the quote and confirm screen?

Tried swap eth with a small amount last week. It went through, though the fee was a bit higher than expected.

A quick tip: copy the address from the swap eth website instead of typing it manually.

Just wondering, does swap eth show the Base fee before confirming? I may have overlooked it.

Has anybody else noticed the quoted fee changing while using swap eth bridge?
